News for the Week of June 27, 2008

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

Thank you for helping to make last week’s Personal Protection Seminar such a success. It was a pleasure to watch so many of our students and their families participating at a high level. Handouts from the seminar are still available…ask your Instructors!

This week is Buddy Week in all Junior Classes: Parents, please pick up a permission slip from us here at school. Your child can bring as many friends as they like to their classes this week!

Lastly, a reminder that we will be closed for Independence Day from July 4th through July 11th. We will reopen on July 14th with our regular schedule.

Even after [only] a month, these skills have been instilled in me in a way that I don’t think will ever change…. I learned that learning Jiu Jitsu wasn’t enough: you also needed to be a teacher, a leader, a good training partner, and a good friend.

“And I couldn’t be more thrilled that I’m actually getting a chance to finally learn the art form from a group of people so dedicated to it. Leading by example would be an understatement.

    “Thanks again.”
