You don’t need to be in shape to get into shape! Our kickboxing classes are a full-body martial arts workout, where even beginners can burn up to 800 calories in only an hour of training. This program is built on the art of Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing—one of the most effective, efficient methods of self-defense and fitness in the world. Our comprehensive training method uses feet and hands, knees and elbows together for a full-body workout designed to increase speed, flexibility, coordination and endurance.

Our Basic classes are built around core Thai Kickboxing skills, taught in a format which even the newest student can follow. Each student is given the space to develop and improve at their own rate, regardless of age or level. You’ll find a comprehensive, moderately-paced warm-up and cardio conditioning protocol in each class, and every lesson has our instructors highlighting key elements of self-defense which anyone can learn.

After only a few classes, you’ll notice your fitness level increasing and your mental alertness rising. We have designed our Thai Kickboxing program with a safety first mindset: students can experience the benefits of a rigorous martial arts class in a cooperative environment without competition or antagonism. The kickboxing classroom at our school is designed to develop discipline, self-confidence and physical fitness.

Our students are able to lose weight, improve their stamina, and eliminate the tension that can come from day-to-day frustration or anxiety. In addition to benefits like coordination, self-confidence and weight-loss, we believe that the martial arts philosophy which governs Thai Kickboxing training is an essential element to a healthy life. This includes:

  • Persevering in the face of challenges.
  • Blocking out the distractions which can short-circuit life goals.
  • Seeking proactive communication as a means to personal and interpersonal conflict resolution.
  • Managing and overcoming feelings of hostility, fear, anxiety and frustration.
  • Having the confidence to choose cooperation rather than competition, in and out of class.

Our goal is to provide a firm foundation for an understanding of physical and emotional balance—as well as self-defense—while beginning to condition your mind and body for a safer, stronger, more fit lifestyle. If you’re unsure about trying martial arts training for fear of injury, embarrassment, or because you’re not in shape, then our Thai Kickboxing class is for you.
